Welcome to my share site! I share and talk about things I find interesting. I may drop a review here or there.
Play as a tumbling bumblebee on a quest to rescue its captured family from a cave filled with arachnid nightmares.
Finished Nona the Ninth! I...am in shambles. God, I loved it. I really like The Locked Tomb series! It gets better and better after each book and you put the pieces together and you're like OH, HOW'D I NOT SEE THAT? I adore all the characters. Some of the dialogue is really fucking funny too. I also love the relationships they have with each other, it's so rich.
I just...hope Alecto the Ninth comes out before 2029.
WHAT?? ALECTO THE NINTH ISN'T OUT UNTIL 2029!?
This is devastating and has ruined my day.
This book...if I thought the [redacted] was interesting in Harrow the Ninth, it surely did get turned up to 100 in this book.
Good lord, I love our protagonist. She's absolutely adorable...However, I love being as clueless as her when it comes to the politics and drama around her. I'm very slow to these things, especially in The Locked Tomb series. I put together some pieces, but look at the rest in confusion. I'm...10-15 chapters in? I'm not sure.
Start your new life! Build the farm of your dreams as you discover a world brimming with possibilities. Magic, romance, and adventure all await you in this nostalgic farming / life sim RPG!
I've really been enjoying this game! I suck at farming games, I tend to struggle buying things and upgrading tools and not optimizing my time. But I am enjoying myself. I really like the characters, they're absolutely adorable. I have...no idea who I want to pursue though.
Finished Harrow the Ninth. What a rollercoaster! Some details I have definitely missed and misunderstood but- Wow! On to the next book!!
40 something chapters into Harrow the Ninth and there it iiiis! I've come to really enjoy it. I love how different Harrowhark is portrayed in this book compared to GtN! Not that she has a different personality, it's just that things through her eyes is so....I dunno! I love it. Honestly, I'm very surprised by the absolutely creepy moments in this book. You really feel along for the ride with Harrowhark. I think I like her more as a protag than Gideon, the lovable meathead.
Okay well I started over and I like it more the second time around. I'm a few chapters in and I'm still waiting for a Reveal of sorts for what exactly is going on.
The Emperor needs necromancers.
The Ninth Necromancer needs a swordswoman.
Gideon has a sword, some dirty magazines, and no more time for undead nonsense.
I've never engaged with a space opera before(?).
I will admit, the setting is strange and a bit complicated. Like overall, I understand the basic worldbuilding though. The amount of characters introduced was also confusing and I couldn't remember half of them. Skill issue I guess?
People praise this being a huge lesbian must read with romance! “Lesbian necromancers explore a haunted gothic palace in space!” But that's pretty misleading actually. Gideon is a lesbian, but she is not a necromancer lmfao. Sure, there's tension between Gideon and Harrowhark, but there is no romance in this story. At most, Gideon ogles another woman.
I started the second book in the series, but I had to put it down. It's not what you expect coming out of the first book. I'll pick it up again at some point because I'm curious where the story goes.
It isn't always lonely at the top.
Noah Blue's finally got her foot in the door. After clawing her way to the top of the charts with her webcomic, she's garnered enough attention to earn a full-time position at a comic company relaunching their cult classic comic: Queen Leisah.
Queen Leisah is predicted to be an instant bestseller with movie deals already in the making. There's nowhere to go but up . . . as soon as she gets one person out of her way.
Sage Montgomery has always been the best artist in every building she's stepped foot in. Raw talent's gotten her webcomic to the top of the charts every month for the past eight years. Sure, her career has plateaued but that can be fixed with a big, mainstream comic.
She was promised full creative control over Leisah. Instead, she got a shared credit with the one artist who's been breathing down her neck since college. The one artist who has a fighting chance of being better than her. Sage and Noah have to work as a team—or, at least appear to work as a team. They thought the hardest part of the relaunch would be drawing together. But that's easy in comparison to resisting their feelings for each other.
In a story about miracles and curses, two people try to find a grey line between the black and white. Heart of Gold is a queer mystery comic by Eliot and Viv.
Unfinished and on indefinite hiatus, but I enjoy what was shared and I think it is worth reading regardless.
A science-fiction documentary
The art and story is lovely! I read this when it came out, I've been waiting for the next part ever since.
Be aware of the following though:
The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:
South Scrimshaw Part One uses voiced narration synthesized from public domain recordings.
Nature documentaries from an alien world. Celebrating the beauty of science while probing the depths of the human imagination.
A speculative evolution series about a world of turtles
Very cool series. I LOVE the 3D work here.
Goodbye Strangers is a work of experimental media aimed at an 18+ audience. The content of the art and writing, as a whole, contain themes of trauma, sexuality, sexual and physical violence, drug use, and psychological harm. While some sections deal with these themes more explicitly than others, content is not explicitly tagged in all cases, and discretion is advised throughout.
I've enjoyed Goodbye Strangers for a loooong time. I wish I remembered how I found it. Lots of wicked cool designs and art in here!
Node based VFX compositor for pixel art.
Use 2d tiles to create 3d models!
A cute and zany bee themed management sim/base builder.
Fun little game. Not very long, but it's enjoyable!
